We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Software QA Testing Engineer to join our R&D team to help participate in the building and testing of a large .NET based eCommerce web applications.
We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong problem-solving skills to test and implement high quality, bug free software that benefits many customers worldwide for this major and very successful internet company.
You will assist the development process including requirements gathering, documentation, and design in additional to heavy QA testing. You will collaborate with business clients to solidify requirements, and will use strong analytical skills with the desire to measure the customer impact and effectiveness of software releases. This is an extremely challenging role that demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
In addition to possessing the experience and skills mentioned above, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- 4-7+ years of industry experience developing and QA testing Web applications
- Experience working in QA, developing and executing QA test plans, cases, and automated test scripts for web-based products
- Background working on large projects with collaborative teams
- Familiarity with testing frameworks is a plus
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET, and SQL Queries is a plus
- Experience with XML, XSD, and XSLT, and a history working with web client software
- Experience working with relational databases (MSSQL)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Ability to work in a fast paced and Agile/Scrum development environments
- Understanding of system and application performance limits and characteristics
- Excellent problem solving skills
